Boramin - systhetic coolant for ferrous metals |
|
|
 |
Boramin was designed to overcome the many disadvantages
often associated with synthetic coolants. Does not include nitrites,
phenols, chlorine , sulfur and phosphorus.
Boramin made for use in all types of surface grinding machines. It
is exellent corrosion inhibitor which can be used where short term
rust protection is needed.
APPLICATION
Water solutions of Boramin exhibit excellent lubricity and long-term
stability. Superior surface wetting provides maximum cooling and chip
removal. Parts, produced with Boramin are protected from rust and
corrosion by a thin residual film. Boramin is equally recommended for large
central systems as well as for individual sumps.
Recommended concentration ratios are:
- General Grinding: 2% to 4%
- Rust protection: 2% to 4%
- The concentration of Boramin can easily be determined by using a refractometer, or potenciometric titration.
