TMS-K is a concentrated, alkaline liquid cleaning compound designed
for use in spray washers and various other metal cleaning systems. It
has been found particularly effective in removing heavy drawing and
stamping compounds.
TMS-K can also be used in prepaint treatment systems. The advantages
of TMS-K:
- Safe for use on ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
- Effective in removing a wide variety of soils from light to heavy
duty lubricants.
- Low foaming at all temperatures.
- Does not promote corrosion.
- Water-based, easily rinsed with water.
APPLICATION
Recommended operating parameters are concentrations between 2% to
7% by volume and temperature ranges of 25°C to 45°C. Cleaning
times may vary with type of soil from 30 to 60 seconds.
The concentration of TMS-K is monitored by buret or potentiometric
method.
